MoPA-TV® - How does it work?

How does MoPA-TV® work?
The Set
Production costs are minimal as most of the program’s scenes are computer-generated. This allows for unlimited creativity when designing the show’s visual layouts using either a new design or customizing an existing design. The 3D scenarios and avatars are managed by a team of in-house 3D animators and graphic artists who ensure that the designs are consistent to the show’s format.
The Contestants

The screen containing all of the contestants' avatars can be easily navigated through in real time by the use of a 'camera joystick' which gives the appearance to the TV viewers that there is a flying camera. Avatars can be presented in close-up, long shot, group shot and bird's eye view. All of these different views are controlled with simple movements of the camera joystick control.

The MoPA-TV®'s virtual cameras can fly through the 3 dimensional space in real time. The camera pans, zooms and rotates all over capturing the avatars on screen using predefined camera paths. This 3D environment can support up to 500,000 concurrent live participants.

Show Format
The MoPA-TV format is flexible and can be customized to create a brand new game show or it can be integrated as new feature into an already existing popular game show title.
The Flow of the Show
Face Rendering
MoPA-TV has a face rendering feature that allows participants to create an avatar that has their very own face! Participants are able to take a picture using the camera on their phone and then to fit it onto their avatar during registration. Participants can enjoy seeing not only their name, but also their face on TV during the show in real-time.
